Interwoven
This project draws inspiration from the intricate surfaces of rocks. By 3D scanning my woven pieces, I explored it’s new dimension, translating it into different mediums such as Jesmonite. Through this process, I discovered that the expanded surfaces mirrored the structure of rock.
By transforming the fabric into these objects, I created a unique dimension for the material, bridging the gap between textile and sculpture.
